Bever Park Band

We all (Mommy, Daddy, & Addilyn) went on a little bike ride this evening to Bever Park. They had a band playing songs in the park. Addilyn's favorite song was this one, which was an Irish tune, that sounded very much like the music in Tinkerbell. Addilyn danced the night away!

Drive-In Movie

Well... the plan failed. We tried to go to the drive-in movie. We got our blanket situated, Addilyn's chair was placed just right, we had drinks, popcorn, you name it. We even bought a strawberry smoothie and they gave out free glow necklaces. Unfortunately, toddlers don't always have the same idea as the parents. Addilyn wanted to run... and run and run and run and run... and run some more -- which doesn't work very well at an outdoor movie. So, we had Plan B: catching lightning bugs in the back yard! It was much more fun, anyhow.

Grapes are good!

We had grapes this morning for breakfast. Mmmm.... Looks like another hot day out there. We may head to the drive in movie tonight downtown and check it out. They are playing "Hotel for Dogs" which is not supposed to be a great movie, but it may keep a toddler entertained!

BALLOON GLOW!

My buddy Trey, Daddy, and I went to the balloon glow tonight while mommy got a little time to herself. The balloon glow was one of the coolest things we have ever seen! It was beautiful to see the balloons glow in the dark. There was live music, too, which I danced to all night long!

St. Louis

We had a blast in St. Louis! We went to Grant's Farm and saw goats, ducks, birds, Clydesdale horses, and elephants. We also went to the St. Louis Zoo and saw so many animals like penguins, camels, sea lions, bears, pigs, cows, and butterflies. The arch was so big compared to Addilyn!
