Playing!!!

Spring has arrived! We did a little spring cleaning this weekend, and Miss Addilyn played dress-up with her purses and her hat in her pajamas. She also got into a marshmallow kitty that was supposed to be for Easter. Today, we went to the park on this beautiful spring day!

Stuffing face secretly with a marshmallow kitty. When daddy caught her, Addilyn said, "Mmmm... a kitty! MEOW!"

Let's go swing!

Spring Thaw

We went to Morgan Creek Park to watch the spring thaw in action! We saw a bridge, a creek, trees, and some bald eagles! Daddy even got to take some artistic nature pictures.

Sleeping Beauty

Daddy took Addilyn to see Sleeping Beauty tonight at Linn-Mar high school. Of course, she loved it! During every intermission, when the lights dimmed, she would say "awww..." because she thought it was over. When it was actually over, she cried. But she loved it so much! She clapped, sang, and danced during the show. She kept looking for Tinkerbell since we saw Peter Pan a couple weeks ago. Tomorrow, the 3 of us are off to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Englert Theater in Iowa City! Yahoo!

Owl Hunting

We went to Wickiup Hill Outdoor Learning Center tonight during a full moon to go OWL HUNTING! We made owl calls to take home, and then we set out on the trail in the pitch darkness to find owls. Can you believe we found some? Take a listen to the video to hear them. You can also see how dark it really was out there.

Making an owl call next to the owl! These homemade owl calls are really neat - they really sound like an owl.

Hey, you're not an owl!

Searching for owls out on the trail. "I think I hear one!"
