We suspected that Kid was pregnant, and we were right! Kid gave birth to 3 cute kittens in our garage last night. She snuck in there yesterday evening, and refused to come out. This morning I found objects strewn all over the garage, as she was looking for just the right place to have her kitties. 2 black and 1 white kitten were with mom underneath my workbench on a blue Ikea bag/tarp. Addilyn is very excited to be a new big sister of 3 little kittens! We are leaving them alone today, but I am going to provide a box for her in case she wants some privacy. Also, this will help to keep them from wandering around the garage where there are chemicals, fertilizer, and a car. We plan to raise them until they are weaned, and either they will explore and leave the nest on their own, or we will have to find homes for them. I will keep you updated on their developmental progress and milestones as the cute, fuzzy kittens grow up! This will be very exciting for Addilyn!
