We had a great time carving our Cinderella pumpkin. Addilyn loved the guts, and we saved the seeds to eat later. The jack-o-lantern turned out great! Kid liked it, too.

Goodbye, pacifier!
Yesterday, we went to the dentist. The dental hygienist suggested that we get rid of the pacifier, if possible. She asked Addilyn if she would like to give her pacifier to the baby ducks and baby bunnies, who would be so happy to have it since they don't have one. Addilyn agreed, and last night, we left the pacifier for the baby animals to suck on. She did ask us last night at bedtime where her pacifier was, but we reminded her, and she slept all night without it. Fingers crossed... this might have really worked!

Addilyn went to the Dentist!
Addilyn is such a big girl! She went to the dentist today for the first time! No cavities! The dental hygienist and dentist were so nice to her. They explained everything to her so that she really enjoyed going to the dentist. She even got a Princess Belle toothbrush and Sparkle toothpaste. Milestones like these make us realize how quickly our little girl is growing up.

Stella Juliet's Baptism

October Fun
We went to Papa's house for the Iowa @ Michigan Football game. Hawks won! We celebrated by playing some tackle football in papa's yard. It was a beautiful fall weekend, with many of the leaves falling off the trees and crisp, fresh air.
Stella turned 1 month old this week. She had her pictures taken professionally on Friday (pictures to be posted in about a week). She enjoyed her visit to the QC to see her Great Grandma in the hospital, her Grammy and Auntie, and her Papa and Grandma Shari. Mommy and Grammy enjoyed going to the opening of Toyland, too! We had a great weekend.
