Today we had a fun family day eating at the Soup Spoon Cafe, searching for eggs at the Easter Egg Hunt, holding butterflies at the Butterfly Garden, and finished the day off with ice cream!  What a fun day!

MSU Neuroscience Fair

The best part of my job is learning and teaching about the brain. I am blessed with the opportunity to teach my kids how fun, exciting, and important brain research really is. Today we attended the Neuroscience Fair at Michigan State University. I saw fellow co-workers and new friends, and Addilyn learned more about the brain and why I have devoted my career to it. Addilyn is excited to learn about the brain as I am every day at wok. Maybe she will be a scientist one day and follow in my footsteps, and maybe she won't. But I can rest assured that I am helping her explore the opportunities that will be presented to her in about 14 short years. And Stella, well I have even more time to prepare her. Stella was just happy to hold the brain eraser today!
