Camping in the back yard
We had a little campfire and set up the tent in the back yard last week. It was too cold to sleep outside, but we did eat S'mores!
Gardening
Warm weather = GARDENING! It's a little risky planting veggies before May 15, but we'll gain a longer growing season if we can make it through without a frost. Addilyn had so much fun gardening with daddy! We planted tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, and impatiens. The garden looks so much better with mulch in it, too.

Hawkeye Spring Game 2010
We went to the Hawkeye Spring Game on this beautiful Saturday! 23,000 fans cheering for a practice/scrimmage game that doesn't even count is truly amazing. Go Hawks and thank you, Papa for cheering and getting popcorn! We also made out like bandits at the Spring Cleaning sale. Nike sweatshirts that were originally $35+ for only $1! You can't beat it!
Planting more seeds
During this beautiful weather, we are planting more seeds. Thanks to grammy for this Easter present! Soon we should have Spearmint, Basil, and Lemon Balm!

Galena trip
We went to Galena today for Grandma Judy's birthday at Vinny Vanucchi's Italian Restaurant. Had a great time with everyone! What a beautiful day.

Planting Seeds
We planted seeds during a thunderstorm in the new pot Grandma Judy made Addilyn for Easter. She had all her fun gardening stuff: Dora gardening gloves, her new wheelbarrow, shovels, and her watering can. We planted Big Bird Sunflowers and Veggie Tales Zinnias (in the same pot!). We will watch them grow and post pictures as they sprout.

Easter Sunday
Happy Easter! We colored easter eggs and the Easter Bunny left a basket in the yard! We had a delicious dinner with our family, and Addilyn wore a beautiful Easter dress from Grammy!
