Over the weekend, we enjoyed the beautiful weather in the Mason and East Lansing area. We started the day off on Sunday by attending a new church in Mason. It is a very welcoming and inviting church, with a great priest from Fiji. He seems to be entertaining and gives you a take home story to think about -- something we have been lacking in churches so far. We then went to Tim Horton's ~ a donut and coffee shop started in Canada. I suppose we're not too far from Canada, so that makes some sense. Tim Horton was a hockey player for the Toronto Maple Leafs. I'm not sure how that translates into donuts, but they were good! And so was the coffee! We then went to the East Lansing Farmer's Market, enjoyed some more Michigan peaches and apples, played on the playground (mosquito free!), and Addilyn enjoyed painting a masterpiece. It was a great weekend settling in to our new home. Next week we hope to catch a movie at the $2.00 seats. Addilyn and Stella want to see Winnie the Pooh.
